All lovers of the sea and wine will like the Zaro apartments. We are located on the Zaro estate, within the Zaro winery in a multiple-flat house.
Our location is in a quiet and tranquil area surrounded by mediterranean environment with a sea view, only 10 minutes walk from from Izola's historic city center. A magnificent, new walking and cycling trail near the seaside, between Izola and Koper is quite close to the estate. There are vineyards near the estate with a lovely view of the city and the sea.
In the summer of 2021, the entire house was renovated including the apartments which are modernly furnished. All of our apartments are perfectly designed to meet the needs of our guests.
We are a wine-growing family with roots in Izola dating back to 1348, so our love of our homeland and the sea is linked throughout our lives and work. We carefully cultivate and constantly update the tradition and rich heritage. Furthermore, our processing follows ecological standards. We've expanded the estate's accommodation facilities, and we're excited to welcome guests and share our philosophy with them.

Izola promises a wide range of unforgettable experiences throughout the year. The beautiful villages of the Istrian countryside invite you to take a stroll, offering inviting views, numerous hiking and biking trails, and excellent cuisine.
Izola promises a wide range of unforgettable experiences throughout the year. The beautiful villages of the Istrian countryside invite you to take a stroll, offering inviting views, numerous hiking and biking trails, and excellent cuisine. Not only does the sea offer fun in the summer, but it is also a paradise for water sports enthusiasts in the autumn and spring. Interesting boat experiences are available as well.
In addition to its natural and marine beauty, Izola also hidescultural treasures. Visit the famous palaces, climb the bell tower, and learn about the town's maritime history in the museum Izolana - House of the Sea.
The proximity of the fertile lands provide for a unique blend of Istrian and maritime cuisine. The traditional dishes of the rural outskirts are based on homegrown produce, thriving among the vineyards and olive groves, while the seaside cuisine relies on fish and molluscs.
